Following his military service, Sofwat studied and lived in the Waterloo region - Canada’s Silicon Valley. In doing so, he became very passionate about entrepreneurship, business law, and corporate commercial law. Sofwat has extensive experience in drafting shareholder agreements, non-disclosure agreements, license agreements, articles of incorporation, corporate by-laws, subscription agreements, and employment agreements. He is also skilled in drafting memorandums and analyzing potential liability relating to early-round financing, the advantages and disadvantages of different business structures, employment law, and intellectual property issues. As a graduate of Canada's top entrepreneurial university, the University of Waterloo, Sofwat specialized in business, entrepreneurship, and technology, with a particular focus on continuous improvement and strategic management. He is also a graduate of the University of Calgary's prestigious Faculty of Law, and hence he is keen on employing his well-rounded skills to help all kinds of organizations and industries.
